To handle trade cals in an efficient, courteous and accurate manner advising clients on transportation requirements, costs and payment methods.
Responsibilities
To route goods to the first available flight or appropriate storage department/area.
To check import/export documentation to determine cargo contents and classify goods into different fees or tariff groups
To keep records of all goods shipped, CCA's and other shipping documents.
To communicate and coordinate with customers, Cargo Handling Agents and internal departments and where necessary to liaise with Head office to resolve operational or shipment issues ensuring standards are always maintained.
To distribute relevant information to the appropriate departments to help prevent reoccurrence of poor delivery service.
